Growing up, we’ve always been as different as night and day. But when we both became mothers in early 2016, one conviction bound us together: we didn’t want life just happening to us.
We were bringing children into a world rushing with hectic schedules, crushing deadlines, and digital distractions that threatened to wash away every sacred hour necessary to cultivate the depths of truth, goodness, and beauty that God had called us as mothers to give them.
Our own mother had taught us to refuse the lie that rich, wholehearted, connected living was a thing of the past. She also taught us to take personal responsibility very seriously.
With our faith in Christ as our north star, we came to understand that His people slowing down to cultivate deeply intentional lives is an important part of His goals for the future.
And in terms of that, He had given us a lot of big dreams for life. Accomplishing our goals would take hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Time is our only unrenewable resource—a profound gift to be stewarded with intention. These are things we wanted to teach our children as well.
How could we consistently, proactively build into our most life-giving goals while effectively managing daily responsibilities and navigating the unexpected turns of life?
Through years of trial and error, research, and working with women around the world who nurtured the same vision for their lives, the Evergreen Planning Method emerged as the answer to beautifully conquering the overwhelm of the modern world with clarity and peace.
With a simple habit of stepping away from the noise, pouring a cup of coffee in silence, and putting pen to paper—the Evergreen Planning Method brings cohesion to everything God has entrusted to your care: your home, your children, your work, your calling.
